Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science, Indore was established in 1952. It has been ranked among top 30-40 institutes on national level (including IITs and NITs) by independent bodies. Further, looking at its credentials, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi, declared the institute as autonomous in 1989. Under the autonomous state, the institute is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya (University of technology of M.P.) Bhopal. The institute offers ten UG courses (Regular), four UG courses (Part time), PG programs with twenty two specializations, two part time PG courses in various disciplines under the emerging areas of Engineering, Technology, Applied Sciences, Computer Applications, Management & Pharmacy.

2. JABALPUR ENGINEERING COLLEGE - [JEC], JABALPUR

Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur was established in July 1947. The Institute is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. It is Second Engineering College in India and is the premier institution of engineering in Central India. JEC offers B.E degree courses in eight disciplines and nine postgraduate courses in engineering fields, three postgraduate courses in Applied Sciences, and M.C.A. Admissions are on the basis of entrance exams for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The institute accepts JEE Main, MP-PET, GATE scores for the purpose of admission.

3. UIT RGPV, BHOPAL

University Institute of Technology (UIT-RGPV) was set up in the year of 1986 by the Madhya Pradesh Government. It is an autonomous institute and accredited with grade ‘A’ by NAAC. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya & is approved by the AICTE. It offers B.E at the UG level & ME, MCA, M.Sc. at the PG level. Admissions to certain programs are done through entrance exams like JEE Mains, and GATE.

4. INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, DEVI AHILYA UNIVERSITY - [IET -DAVV], INDORE

The Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), is an engineering college of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. It was founded as an autonomous institute in 1996. It is an approved Institution by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Government of Madhya Pradesh and University Grants Commission (UGC). IET was started with a total intake of 90 students in three branches of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) but now it offers an undergraduate program in six disciplines with a total intake of 540 and Postgraduate programs in engineering and science.

5.MADHAV INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE - [MITS], GWALIOR

Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, formerly known as Madhav Engineering College and commonly referred to as MITS Gwalior, is a government-aided autonomous institute founded in 1957 and located in Gwalior in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The institute is operated by the Scindia Engineering College Society. The institute offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in engineering along with Bachelor in Architecture and Master in Computer Application.

6. UJJAIN ENGINEERING COLLEGE - [UEC], UJJAIN

Ujjain Engineering College is an engineering college in Ujjain in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The college was established by the government of Madhya Pradesh in 1966

7. SAMRAT ASHOK TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTE - [S.A.T.I], VIDISHA

Samrat Ashok Technological Institute [S.A.T.I.], Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, established in November 1960 with a donation from Gangajali Trust Fund. Indira Gandhi Engineering College Sagar is 4th among the 5 government autonomous engineering colleges of Madhya Pradesh. This college was established by government of Madhya Pradesh in November 1981 keeping the industrial development of Bundelkhand region in view and named it Government Engineering College Sagar and the name has been modified as Indira Gandhi Engineering College Sagar later on. In 1981 the institute was started at its old site in the vicinity of Dr. Hari Singh Gour University Sagar. In December 1986 the institute was shifted to the newly constructed buildings in the land of 220 Acres area allotted by government of Madhya Pradesh in 1985 on a hillock near Baheriya Village of Sagar District, which is about 10 km away from Sagar City. 

10. Barkatullah University Istitute of Technology, (BUIT) Bhopal M.p

Barkatullah University formerly known as Bhopal University was established in 1970 in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. In 1988 it was rechristened as Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, In the living memory of the great freedom fighter Prof. Barkatullah who belonged to Bhopal.
