Oriental College of Technology, popularly known as OCT, is a private institute established in the year 2002. It is a venture institute of Oriental Group of Institutes. It is affiliated to RGPV, Bhopal and Barkatullah University. At UG level, Oriental College of Technology offers B.Tech, and at PG level it offers MBA and M.Tech. All the courses offered by the institute are recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.

RGPV B.E & B.Arch Eligibility
Candidates with valid JEE Mains score card are eligible for BE and Dual Degree programs at RGPV. They must have completed 10+2 level with Mathematics and Physics subjects with a minimum score of 45% (40% for the reserved category)
Candidates with valid NATA/ JEE Mains paper 2 score are eligible for the B.Arch program. They must have scored 50% marks in 10+2/ 10+3 level. Diploma candidates must have had Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
Whereas the students who have completed HSC/ 10+2 level of education, must have had Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects.

RGPV B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria
Candidates looking for admission into the B.Pharm program must have completed 10+2 levels of education or D.Pharm. They must have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for the reserved categories) in total.
They must have Physics and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology.
RGPV ME/ M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aspiring for the program must have completed their BE/ B.Tech Degree in relevant discipline. They must have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for the reserved categories) during their graduation.
Also, admission will be done purely on the basis of merit of GATE score. Hence the candidate is expected to have a valid GATE score as well.
RGPV MBA Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed 10+2 with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST) are eligible to apply
RGPV Diploma Eligibility Criteria
RGPVCandidates looking for admission in any of these courses must have passed matriculation.
For Diploma in Pharmacy, candidates must have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for the reserved categories) in total. They must have Physics and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology.
For Diploma in Engineering, candidates must have a minimum of 35% marks in their 10+2 level, from any recognised Board. They must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the subjects during the 10+2 level.
Candidates applying for both of the programs must have a valid MP-PPT (Pre-Polytechnic Test) score to use during the counselling session.

I haven't opted for hostel but my friends are hostelite. Hostel will provide you everything expect good food. Mess food is a problem specially boys hostel mess. You have to bring your sleeping mattress from home. They will provide you your separate bed and table. Going out of the hostel after 8PM is strictly prohibited.. Hostel Fees : 55k to 60k per year
