1. ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES - [AIIMS], BHOPAL

AIIMS Bhopal is one of the institutes among the top 100 universities in India and was established in 2012. It offers various UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses like MBBS and B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, M.D, M.S., and M.Ch. Admission to these courses is done based on the entrance exam. The application process will be conducted online. AIIMS is ranked No. 1 in the west zone by The Week magazine.

2. MAHATMA GANDHI MEMORIAL MEDICAL COLLEGE - [MGMMC], INDORE

Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore was established in the year 1948. It is also known as MGMC Indore. The college was formerly known as King Edwards Medical School and later on, it was given the name of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore. MGMC Indore is affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Medical Science. University, Jabalpur. The Department of Physiotherapy was established in the year 1997. MGMC Indore offers undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate diploma courses to the students and  Anatomy, Physiology, Biophysics, Bio-Chemistry, Pathology, Micro-Biology, Forensic Medicine, Pharmacology, Anaesthesia (D.A.) and Paediatrics (D.C.H.) are the academic departments of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore.

3. GAJRA RAJA MEDICAL COLLEGE, GWALIOR

Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior was established in the year 1946. The college is also known as GRMC Gwalior. The college was the first medical college established in Madhya Pradesh and it is the 17th medical college of India.  Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior is affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur. GRMC Gwalior is recognised by the Medical Council of India and is governed by G R Medical College Society under the Department of Medical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students.

4.NETAJI SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE MEDICAL COLLEGE - [NSCBMC], JABALPUR

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College (NSCBMC) is a prestigious medical college located in Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 1955 and inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru. The college is affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University and has the approval of MCI. Presently, the college is running MBBS, B.Ph. at the UG level and MS, MD, PG Diploma at the PG level. Nursing and Paramedical courses are also available. 

5. GANDHI MEDICAL COLLEGE, BHOPAL

Gandhi Medical College is a leading medical college in Bhopal established in 1955. The college offers M.B.B.S, M.Ch in Paediatric Surgery, M.Ch in Plastic Surgery, M.Sc. in Medical Biochemistry, MS, MD, Diploma in various courses, and paramedical courses in almost 10 departments. To be eligible for Admission at Gandhi Medical College, one must have a cut-off score in NEET (for MBBS). Students can apply online as well as offline mode.

6. BUNDELKHAND MEDICAL COLLEGE, SAGAR

Bundelkhand Medical College (BMC) is a full-fledged tertiary government medical college in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. Dr S.C. Tiwari, acted as the first dean of this college. The first batch of M.B.B.S was admitted in 2009. This institute is currently being developed as the biggest centre for improving the medical teaching activity as well as higher quality health facilities for the people of entire Bundelkhand region.

7. SHYAM SHAH MEDICAL COLLEGE, REWA

Shyam Shah Medical College located at Rewa was established in the year 1963. It is affiliated to AP Singh University and is approved by MCI. The programs offered include MBBS, MD, MS, and Diploma. Admissions to courses are based on NEET UG and PG examinations, and the respective counseling. It also has a well-equipped School of Nursing and the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and Gandhi Memorial Hospital affiliated to it.

8. GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE - [GMC], KHANDWA

Government Medical College, Khandwa is a government college, situated in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 2018. The college is affiliated to the Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University and is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). GMC Khandwa offers a UG degree in MBBS for a duration of 5.5 years which includes a year-long internship. Selections are made on the basis of the score obtained in the NEET-UG entrance examination.
