Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT Bhopal), established in 1993 under the LNCT group of colleges, is a technology-oriented private engineering college. The Lakshmi Narain College of Technology offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and BE Lateral entry courses in nine different specialisations covering various aspects of technology. A total of 1,200 seats are available for the regular BE degree, whereas, a total of 192 seats is available for the lateral entry students. The duration of regular BE course is of 4 years while for lateral course, the duration is 3 years.
Admission to the regular UG courses in the LNCT is accepted through two different entrance examinations as follows:
- 75% of the seats are reserved under State Quota for the students from Madhya Pradesh. Admission to this quota is accepted through PET common entrance exam conducted by Professional Examination Board, Chhattisgarh (CGVYAPAM). Please visit the website regularly for more details.
- 10% of the seats are reserved under All India Quota for candidates from all over India. Admissions to this quota is accepted through AIEEE conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.
- The remaining 15% admission is reserved under Management Quota where a candidate is expected to qualify either in PET or AIEEE. Advertisement will be placed in Newspapers and website for admission under Management Quota after the declaration of results
The candidates can also opt for lateral courses which allows entry directly into the second year. Admission to the lateral courses are done strictly on the basis of merit.

Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT) Bhopal PG Admissions 2021
The Lakshmi Narain College of Technology offers Masters in Technology, Computer Application and Business Administration. The total capacity for PG courses is 642.
The Master of Engineering (M.E/ M.Tech) course offers seven different specialisations with 24 seats in each course except Control Systems Engineering which has 18 seats. MCA regular and lateral courses have 120 seats each whereas 240 seats are available for candidates who want to pursue MBA.
For admission in PG courses, the candidates need to appear through different entrance exams and then the selection will be done on merit margin:
- For M.E/ M.Tech, the candidates need to sit for the MP-GATE exam.
- For MCA regular course, the candidates need to sit for the MP Pre-MCA exam. The form shall be available at official website
- For MBA, the candidates need to sit for the CAT exam.
For admission in MCA lateral course, no entrance test shall be held. BCA or B.Sc degree candidiates can apply for direct entry and the selection will be done on the basis of merit.
The course duration of MCA is 3 years for the regular ones and 2 years for lateral entry candidates.

Yes Available, Girls hostel is definitely the best thing in campus with capacity of 250 students. 3 girls in each room. The hostel includes mess facility, the food is good enough to have than the other mess I had visited. You get breakfast than lunch than refreshment in evening and dinner. The rent of hostel is 75,000 but worth it. Due to limited capacity their are other hostels as well as PG's are also available at some distance from college. Boys Hostel:- As much I have heard the food is not good but yet hostel Life is hostel Life can't be compared with flat. But Hostel facility for boys are just available for 1st year. Hostel Fee : INR 75000

Yes available, Two students in a single room with area of room around 120 square feet having to separate bed and almirah and one window. In food facility it includes breakfast, lunch,tea and dinner which is average in quality and quantity wise. Water and bathroom facility is also good . Hostel Fee : INR 75000
